If Only....BOOTS!!!

Why is it that wherever I go online I find boots that I simply love and want to have? Why is it also that I am so hesitant to wear the boots that I own? Fun fact: I know why. While I have cloths that fit boots, I just don't wear them that way. Because I run around so much I don't tend to wear anything other than tennis shoes, my ninja shoes (for parkour), or TOMS. But that doesn't mean that I can't look at the sweet boots I see! I also have the issue of wanting to buy said boots, mostly for fancy occasions...when I wear ballet slipper style or...converse...yea...I'm that girl! Hah!

I'm going to start with pair of combat boots. Yes, you heard right: combat boots. I have a thing for combat boots. I mean they are fun and tough and not to mention I feel like Maka from 'Soul Eater' and who wouldn't want that?! Ok, this pair is from Forever 21, I'm not sure why I don't just go down and buy a pair but I'm not, so they are here on my wish list!

The second pair is from one of my favorite places to shop from: Modcloth. This pair is a bit fancier and nicer looking than my Forever 21 boots, but hey, I need something for when I wear prettying dresses! I know lots of people say black is better for boots, but for these I think that lots of dresses and dress pants look almost better with brown. Personal preference for what that's worth.

My third pair I really just couldn't pass up. They are a higher boot and black, but I really love them! They are from Journeys, and they look pretty badass! So, you now know that I have a thing for both combat boots and apparently for buckles... Huh! I learned something new about myself!

So, what do you think of my boot choices? I'm a fan! :P
I also should explain that I just got a new computer (yay!!!) and it's a desktop! It's exciting because I got it at Best Buy for a nice discount! This does mean that I just finished transfering all of my settings onto this new computer and for some reason this post didn't post when I originally 'posted' it yesterday while I was in the middle of my 24-hour transfer (I really should have gone through and gotten rid of the unnecessary things on my laptop....).
I will say that I am keeping my laptop since it's a bit of a hassle to carry around a desktop to coffee shops and around the world so I'm not even going to go there. Blogging during my travels will still happen to the best of my ability and I look forward to putting this new computer (and my old one until my dad goes out and personally sells it himself...) to the best use I can!

Love,
Sara :)

If Only....Casually Feeling Cute

Alright, so I happened to stumble upon an online boutique called Mura, and instantly have fallen in love with several of their pieces!! They are at an affordable price...if you live in Australia, which I, sadly, do not :( So, these dresses serve as great examples on my "If Only" theme for these posts!
Mura is a trendy place to buy clothing that is beautiful and not too expensive. Granted, it is again only for women and the dresses tend to be shorter than my father would let me out of the house in, I do find that I like some of these pieces. As they say "make your fairytale come true", and I believe that is part of the fashion of dresses! Here are a few of my very favorite dresses that I would definitely buy if I 1- had the money and 2- was in the same country...damn international shipping!

This first dress is called the Bower Bird dress, and I love both the front and the back. The bright blue color of the dress paired with something simple like a pair of sunglasses, headband or a silver bracelet and light shoes makes for a simple outfit that can still make a statement at the same time. On the other hand, you could also add a brown belt, a hat and head out barefoot (or maybe it's only me who enjoys being barefoot more than wearing shoes :P). It also comes in black if you want a less bright, but still classy and fashionable look!

The second dress is called the Elly Ponti Dress. I prefer the red dress (I must have something with bright colors today!), but it also comes in a very pretty black. If I were to buy this dress I would get the black just because it would be used for more formal events. This dress is again one that would be easy to dress up, and it wouldn't take much if you didn't want it to; a simple necklace and/or bracelet and earrings would work just find, along with heels or flats.

This third dress is one that normally I wouldn't pick out, yet I'm not sure if it's because of the model or the name or what but I really like it here! It's called the Strawberry Milkshake Dress (gotta love that name, I got a dress from modcloth a while back that was called something about Chocolate Milk!), and I think it is adorable! The reason why I wouldn't normally go for it is because it has quite a bit of lace and I'm not normally a lacy-type girl. I still can't explain but this dress would be one that I would seriously consider purchasing! Adding a belt (like the photo...), and some brown shoes and this is a great summertime dress!

Alright, that's what I have time for today! What are some other places you guys have heard of that are over seas? Would you travel to another country for a dress you fell in love with? Solutions? Help? :P
I hope you have a wonderful week! I'm almost done with finals, so I know that after Tuesday my life will become a thousand times less stressful, at least for a few weeks!
Happy Sunday (at 2 am!)!
Love,
Sara :)

If Only....Feeling Wintery Warmness

Alright, call me a slight whimp but the weather here in Minnesota is getting colder. Like in the 40s (degrees F). So I'm starting to look at warm clothing, and with this whole fitness thing being a common theme, where else to look than Athleta?! Also, sorry it's been a long time since I've done one if these!
I'm gonna start with jackets and vests, because they are the ones that I wish I could have because they are so comfy looking and cute all in one!

One of my current favorites is called the Switchback Jacket, which is a fleece version of the classic pea coat. Wearing it with a cute gray knitted had and some mittens and scarf I think it would be quite adorable! I especially like this blue color, which they call "Night Blue", but the Asphalt color is a close second in my opinion!

This is the Himalaya Vest, it also comes in a pretty adorable Olive Heather color, but I like this color because it's more matchy to the clothing I have currently. This was inspired for hiking and climbing, and what Athleta calls: Adventure Travel. It's a lightweight, warm fleece vest that is again, machine washable! Another article that I hope to gain at some point since I do travel and travels are always quite adventurous!

Of corse I can't get new winter wear without getting a new running jacket, especially from a place such as Athleta! The Interval Jacket is a perfect example. This jacket is not only super cute, but is water and wind resistant, which is a big help in winter. I mean just because it's winter is no reason for us to all stop running outside, especially since it's so pretty outside, just keep working on it!

Well, that's what I have for you today. I'm sorry that I have been super slow lately about putting up posts, but school has been pretty busy and I was sick for a while :(. I'm much better now and I hope to continue with more posts....soon! :P
Have a wonderful weekend! It's already Fall Break here, meaning I had Saturday through Tuesday off of school for expeditions around the twin cities! Wish me luck, I'll post pictures once I have some later :)
Love,
Sara :)

P.S. Athleta has just opened a new store up at Mall of America! I've been in there and it's super nice to be able to see the cloths that before I had just seen online, it's a very nice looking store, so you should all check it out :)

If Only...Casually Feeling Cute :P

Ok, I admit it, I'm guilty. I look for things that I can't afford or have no real use of. I''m sure many of you do what I do and "window shop", whether that be while physically at a store or while online. I wanted to share a little bit about what I'm currently window shopping for.
The first big site is ModCloth. I have been a fan of ModCloth for years now, and have gotten quite a few items from there, but lately I have been having a lack of income due to no having an actual job (an internship, yes, but it is an unpaid one :P), and since ModCloth isn't always cheap I have not been able to get many of the things I wish I could get :( so here I go with a few things that are on my wishlist for what I call "Casually Feeling Cute :P". This is for the times when I just wanna feel cute and these are dresses that I would really love and would really feel cute in, at least as far as I think since I haven't actually tried them on yet.
This is called the Marble Collection Dress, it just captures my each time and makes smile. I don't normally go for the floral look, but here I think that it works really well and the flowers on the shoulder just add something that for some reason I really like!

This dress is much simpler, it is called the To Diner for Dress. While this is much simpler than the last dress it is more of what I would wear daily and is what most people would think of being more "my style". I guess that means more of a tomboy-ish style which is what I held for most of school until later in college when I started getting into this sort of stuff :) I likes it though!

Meet the With the Mostess Dress. First off, I really like the name of this dress. Secondly, I'm noticing a pattern in the dresses that I pick, at least these ones; they aren't too revealing but they will still show off figure and such which is nice. I'm kinda an athletic build so it's a bit difficult to find things that I really can wear well, and to add to it I'm short so these things together can make shopping at department stores more difficult especially when everything is in an extra long...but hey! I won't complain...too much.

Well, these are the dresses that I have right now for window shopping, I'll have more later on I'm sure. This really wasn't very much, but I'm feeling a bit lazy today. This is my first installation of If Only...Casually Feeling Cute :P I hope you enjoyed it!
Have a wonderful night,
Also 3 days til I'm in the Dells :D I'm so excited!
Love,
Sara :)
